You can also look on craigslist, I found mine with warn hubs for 100 bucks. Most of the time people have it pulled for you already.

Don't know much about the 2.8 but the temp sensor should be located near the thermostat.

Re: Bad Noise , Drivetrain Maybe?
Do you still have the stock tulip style driveline? Any lift over 2 inches and you have to change the driveline.

Re: rear end swap
My 91 ex has 3:73's for the front and the rear end i got for my b2 had 3:73 in the front also. I think they also came with 3:23's? As for 4:10's if that was stock I belive those gears came in the sport models.

Check the fan that blows in the cab that might be going out. You voltage gauge will move when things are on but if everything slows down then something is taking too much power!

Re: Looking to Buy a BII...Could use Some help
I bought an 89 and so far no engine problems at all. 89 and 90 had the new body style and the later 90's had the 35 the some 90's did still come with the 28 so be careful. Pretty mush stick with the b2's that have the 2.9 not the 2.8.

Re: Most popular leaf spring swap???
With shackles be careful about your pinion angle! I've seen alot of guys with yotas put huge shackles on and then they burn up their pinion bearing! Superlift sells six inch springs then you could do shackles, I personally wouldn't do blocks only because you get alot of rearend hop.

Re: leaf setup?
It seems like stevenf is right you would lose some flex along with wearing out your leaf bushings alot quicker than normal. Plus how well do you think it would track down the road?

Re: Quick suspension question
The problem with explorer springs is they only lift if your b2 is sagging if not there is no real change in height but you will get a stiffer ride. Some people run air shocks :redneck: to help a bit. When I first got my 89 b2 the guy before me put in a thicker center leaf and that lifted the rear to...

Re: rear end swap
You could check local yards for front ends but you would have to do a lot of calling. You also could go to car-part.com they have a national database of all the wrecking yards and you could find a frontend there. If 4:10's came stock in the rear then there has to be one for the front. If you do put ...

Re: Cam lifters
Well cancell the whole idea! The engine to fix would cost more than one I found for only 450 bucks! The engine I have right now needs 4 lifters also. I totaled it all up and it would well over 500 to fix the one I have now, so taking the one out to put another in. Oh well thanks for the help!
