Can you take a picture of the clip?

I've talked to a bunch of transmission guys and all said the A4LD is junk. Go with a C5 or 5speed.

Same thing mine did. I chunked the auto and am putting in a manual. So far I have under 400 in the swap.

Re: 1985 B2 project
As of 11/28/09, we got the A4LD on the ground and all associated hardware from the automatic removed. The Transfer case from the A4LD mounted right up to the FM145 like it was meant to go there. Replaced the slave cylinder as well. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g260/cajun66/Bronco%202/DSCF3171.j...

Re: 85 Gas Tank Rant
Got my 1986 sending unit in today. It will work in my 85 tank. All I need to do is plug the return tube, clip the unused wires, and extend the pickup tube.

In Louisiana? Well I have it on good authority they have winter there too, just a different type than we have in the northern climes. The 215's will work great. Does your truck have a tach in it?
