Skyjacker
6 inches is the way to go. You can get a Skyjacker on blocks for about $600 from 4wheel jerks. I'm running that exact setup and all I had to do was shave a little off the corners of my fenders

True that! I did go with a 15x10 inch rim and 12.5 inch tires. It's pretty stable, even when I'm cornering...

Lifted Right
This is my rig with a 6 in lift. I went back and forth with it for a while and I use my rig about the same as you do. In the end I figured why should I spend the money if it's not going to turn out like I want it to. This is the end result! I found that I could have gotten away with a 31' agressive ...

Put your purse down!
If you're going to lift your rig, DO IT RIGHT! I went through the same thing when lifting my rig, and probably asked a lot of the same questions you're asking now. I finally came to the realazation that I was not going to be happy with just a 3in lift when I could go 6in in one shot. I opted for the...

Like running out of gas
My 86 2.9 has been doing this for a couple of weeks and its seems to be getting worse. When I drive my rig cold it runs fine but when it heats up and has been running for a while, its starts to miss when I step on the gas. I first noticed it a couple of weeks ago when I drove my truck for a while an...
