I'd have to go with a Bronco II. I don't really like scouts. Sure they have Dana 44's and V8's, but they also weigh a lot more than a BII, so strength is relative. Bronco II's also have all the creature comforts and parts are easy to find. See thats another thing though. They don't all have dana 44...

Well I disagree with everybody. Buy what you like in my opinion though both vehicles are going to need to be built to be truly decent wheelers. They both have there advantages and disadvantages. Personally I do feel that a Stock Bronco II is a better wheeler then a Stock Scout II but like all rigs t...

 It's still a Bronco II but many are now calling it a BRanger II. Legal... well sorta. I'm hoping to be legal enough that the cops don't harrass me to much so ya :redneck: Honestly it's still the same old rig just has a new 83 Ranger Cab on it so it seemed logical to me to keep it a Bronco II...

Why you guys want to waste your time with an Exploder rearend is beyond me. The ranger rearend is a bolt in for the BII. The exploder needs the spring perches flipped to make it work. That is why the exploder rear works good in heeps cause they are spring unders. Plus the ranger rear would probably...

Those trucks came with factory 31's, Exploders didn't. They will fit an a 2 wheel drive but you will have to use the 4X4 Axle pivots to give you the proper drops to keep the alignment. Those trucks have wider wheel wells and I had a 91 Sploder once and 31's fit with out rubbing on stock wheels no l...

It was kinda mild but I managed to break my shit by using piss poor judgement and alot of skinny. It was alot of mud. according to the Ranger they aren't shutting it down completely more like organizing it and defining the trails a bit more to avoid some of the trail destruction that has been going ...

First I'll answer the current question. A D35 TTB is the same design as a D28 TTB only 1.5"s wider which isn't even a big deal. A D35 TTB is Far stronger then a D28 TTB and some say as strong as a stock D44 Solid Axle. The TTB(Twin Traction Beam) is a hybrid half solid axle half IFS type of dea...

I have heard that the 28 spline 7.5" axles and the 28 spline 9" axles are basically the same. My old 7.5" was spooled up for awhile and it didn't break(Busted lockrite spooled it) Nobodies run his welded with a 302 and didn't break a shaft so... It can be broken sure it definately isn...
