d35 / 28

Here I go , learning again about my newly aquired B2. What is the difference between a d35 and a d28. For that matter what is a "d" that you are speaking off. Sorry for my ignorance . Also regarding the changeover to manual, is it true I need manual hub adaptors along with the hubs themsel...

Auto locking hubs

Well here we are with 2 feet of snow on the ground, what is the best way to be sure my front hubs are locking in the way they should be. This is my first winter with the B2. Also any suggestions for a supplier for manual hubs and are manual hubs better overall. ? Thanks

Fuel Tank size

Can someone tell me how big the gas tank is on my 84 B2 and what type of MPG I could be expecting during winter driving. 2.8 L. Thanks to all who reply.

just a question

can you power up the distributor of an 84 2.8 B2 just by applying 12 volts to power up the module?? ( realizing there would be no timing advance. )

I'd like to try and see how my B2 will run with out the computer connected to the dist, I've removed all other emission controls and find it runs great so far except for a small miss in the engine with I am currently thinking is a bad valve or something else mechanical. How can I do a temporay power...

Speaking of memories, I remember years ago working in a radio repair shop ( '70 ) and the owner telling me then " Kid ", get out of the repair business now. Someday we will just throw things away before we fix em . He was right !!!!!

What does this line do ??

On my 84 B2 2.8 there is a rubber line running from in front of the carb, at the base, going into the intake manifold almost directly below the previously mentioned carb connection. I thought it should be a vac. line but I see it is full of gas instead. Does this mean my carb bowl is flooding or set...
