not necessarily, my bronco II has never had a light come on unless it was HOT or low on oil......... of course i think about ahlf my dash gave out long ago...........LOL.......... if you want more HP do the 4.0 upgrade, and change out the front and rear d28 axles for the d35 axles, but remember check the month it was produced to find out which one you have since it is an 89 model, they started suing the d35 in 89 late models, want to know which it is can also count the number...

guys ....... he said it runs fine when the motor is warm, so it is hard to believe it is the fuel regulator......... i would recommend that he pulls the IAC off the truck and take it apart and oil the O-Ring inside ..... when the Oring dries it will bind it usually coated with a vacuum greese .........

1990 bronco II rims

:wtf: ....all you need to do is find a set of rims to fit an explorer, its got the d35 stock under the 1990 model BII so its the same exact rims for the explorer to fit, but in actuallity the rims for an earlier model bronco II off an d28 will fit also. bt the explorer will be easier to find in junk...

the iac can be cleaned with carb and choke cleaner, but just a reminder the PVC valve can cause the same problem for any who doesnt know.

thanks bob i have opted not to lift it just yet, instead im in the middle of a crop top, its cut off and i am currently working on sealing for a short cab with removable rear panel and bed cover but thank you for the info sir........... it will be put to use in the near future.....

o Rings

o rings are used as seals in hydraulics and phnuematics always oil an o ring on assemblhy for future uses just like the o ring seal on an oil filter, but i am glad to hear it fixed your problem......

uhm i kinda had the same problem he had but all i did was run a hot wire from the bateery through a toggle switch and then to the distributor to the 2.9 when i had it in................. worked beautifull..............LOL and attached it so it backfed the wire to the pc when on, it advanced just fin...
