Tuning?

Are there any tuning options for our pre-OBDII 2.9s?

Chips? Programmers/Tuners?

Just curious.

BII 2.9 durability/mileage?

How many miles you guys got on your 2.9s? What's your BII's primary use? Just wondering. Ours is an 86, just used as a secondary daily driver. Low mileage for how old it is, 106,xxx last time I checked. We keep it in good shape for it's age, even though the body itself needs a new "cheap" ...

Air Filter;

Anyone know a good replacement open element filter (Part #s?) that'll fit right up to an 86 2.9?

Our stock air filter box broke where the clamp is, and a chunk is missing.

This is what I do; Plastic grocery/store bags help if you want to cover anything. For any motor washing, including a Powerstroke; Cover anything I want to cover up, I then use water from the garden hose with light-moderate pressure depending on the area for an initial spray down. Grab some Simple Gr...

You can always let it sit overnight, it will relieve all the "pressure" by the time you get to it the next day, open the gas cap up too.

Thanks guys.

I was really leaning towards a Bronco II internet vendor or something of the such versus Summit, Jegs, Advanved Auto, Pep Boys, you get the idea.

Bronco question...?

Hey guys, new guy here.

I was just curious if anyone has any good Bronco II vendor's URLs? Mainly concentrated on maintenance parts, tune up, etc. etc. Specifically for an 86 Bronco II, meaning the 2.9 EFI motor.

Thanks.
