REPLACE IT. I blew the CV style going through the center median in Wyoming during a snow storm. Limped to the job went to NAPA and they ordered a complete one for like $85.00 and because they showed 2 differnt lengths they ordered both and I only had to pay for one.

I go to church with 2 of the sheriffs out here, vehicles must be licensed to operate on public roads, horses or human power so no dirt bikes or ATVs. Speed limit is 15 MPH and you can not drive through the surf itself or go jumping the dunes. As a side note you have to watch the damn tourist as they...

It's become a dead subject. They refuse to accept the weight ticket from any scale as they say you can load it up like you want it and then scale so they don't know exactly how the manufacturer built it. The parnoia is that then you will come in with EXPLOSIVES and offload and set it up, or you will...

My 87 will scrub the fronts if I crank to full lock. I got 225X75X15 Goodyear ATs. My other one (may it rest in peace) did the same thing with 235X75X15 Generals. That's about as big as you can go with out doing work on the engine and gears.

CURB Weight is not on there, just the axle capacities, GVW and GCVW :wtf: . They are just weird down here in Georgia but it's due to the guy that set up the program here was the same idiot that set up the NAVY Nuclear Power Program (Admiral Rickover). They have the same testing equipment that was bo...

Unfortunately this is not what they want. The security manager requires the manufacturer's written documentation from the ownwers manual or manufactureers documentation on the Curb Weight so they can be weighed to determin if you are carring something in or out that you shouldn't. I had all this inf...

Got to have the info

OK boys and girls, I know someone either has or knows where to get the pages out of the owners manual or sales information concerning curb weights and GVW and GCVW. I am on a job in Baxley GA and am tired of having to park in the middle of nowhere. Because it's an SUV I have to have a security pass ...

Texas is right. My drive shaft went south when I was headed north (literally) :flipoff: after a trip trough the center median in Wyoming in a snow storm in route to a Wind Turbine site. NAPA was able to order me a replacement in both lengths and we matched it up in there store front :D . It was the ...
