Re: 1990 BII Hard to rev up and cuts out while driving

I also did a tune up and just this last weekend I changed the fuel pump and filters becuase it was cutting out b...

Back pressure
Yall think that it would effect the way my 2.9L runs if I remove the two cats and keep the flowmaster 2 chamber.
I'm sure it would sound good but im worried about lack of back pressure.
Oh yah, its no where near street legal anyways.

2.9L runs like crap when cold
So heres the deal. I slowly noticed that me engine started running like its missing and sputtering, then dies. Once it reaches opperating temps it goes away. All my buddies laugh because my pile runs like shit. They all got big blocks and 49's and crap. So I pulled the codes and I get a 31, EVP. So ...

Re: Steering box leaking around sector shaft
Yah, I was looking at replacing that same seal because mine was leaking like a mofo. jeffsbroncograveyard.com has a kit kind of like the one you showed. I was going to buy it and do the swap, even after I relized the the sector shaft would have to come out also. But one I pulled my pitman arm off I ...

Re: Help me my bronco needs work
The chances are. If your alt. is a year old, its probably good. They rarely go bad just sitting there. There go bad because of ware. Im taking a shot in the dark giving what I know about your situation and say that its the battery thats the problem. If you jump start your BII with the battery hooked...

Re: Need trac-bar advise/help
I made my own with a heim joint kit I got off of ebay for $60. It came with the joints, missalignment spacers, jam nuts and weld on bungs. I had to get the proper size tubing, for fitment and strength, and fab some brackets. But it looks really good.

Re: tranny crossmember question
I make my x-member bolt to the radius arm brackets and kicked it back to the trany mount bushing. It took some cutting and fabbing but if you have all the tools its not that hard. I have the stock A4LD on my 87 though.

Re: Well... I thought I was almost done.
Try is and see if it will work or not. Your biggest problem is going to be the length. I used the stock drag link of of my BII as a lemp. fix. Now I made my own hi-steer and I used crom-oly rod ends.

missing when cold
Hey guy, my 87 2.9L sounds like it is missing once I first start it up. I can rev it up and it still sounds to same, after about a minute or so it starts running right. Any thoughts on what it might be?
