so how much was gas when you got your driver's license?

I got my license in 1976 when I was 17 and paid 64 cents for regular. When I was 5 my dad ran a gas station that was having a gas war with the station across the street. Both got down to 10 cents a gallon! This was in 1964. Try to tell us USA folks that these petroleum whores can't make a decent ...

gas prices

The cheapest around where I work is $1.94 for 87 octane. Near where I live is $1.99-$2.04 for 87. Thank God I don't have a diesel to fuel up. This stuff is $2.59-$2.79 around here.

Going to my day job yesterday my '88 BII started loosing power like it was running out of gas. Took my gas can to the station across the street, put two gallons in,and put this gas in the tank. No start. Went back, two more gallons, still no start. (I'm the one with the previous post of thinking I had ...

gas tank

I started running this thing way past empty. So far I've gone about 80 miles with the fuel gauge so far past empty you can't see it. Guess I'll see about a new sending unit and/or fuel gauge. My baby still runs good considering how much gas is in the tank as well as how long this stuff has been in ...

fuel tank size

When I fill up the fuel spews out of the filler neck so even if my gauge is messed up this thing still acts like a small tank. Any of yall have rough dimensions of the outside size of a 23 gallon tank? I just might try to measure this thing before I drop it to have a looksee on the inside of it ...

I've never seen a 10 gallon tank until I got this one about 5 years ago. Got it from my brother-in-law with just a few gallons in the tank. When I filled it up I only got around 8 gallons in it. :wtf: So I ran that fuel almost totally out and tried again. The most I've ever got in it is 10 1/2 ...

My question is when I change the 10 gallon tank on my 1988 BII I have now to a 23 gallon tank will the 10 gallon sending unit work on the ...

what other Ford seats will fit a 1988 BII? My driver's seat is shot and I'm looking for a possible highback bucket seat that will fold down to allow access to the backseat.

newbie here!

:usa: New guy here! Hi all. I reside in the Blue Ridge area of SC. I'm fairly new to broncos-only had two over the last four years. Both have been 1988 4x4 with 2.9 and a 5 speed. Like to meet up with area BroncoII drivers. i'm also looking for a cowcatcher and a pair of headers for my baby.
