Though I have "eyeballed" the alignment before, it is better to use one of the plastic alignment shafts. You should be able to borrow one fron a bud or get one at a parts store. They are cheap to buy. Before you tighten the press. plate down...stick the plastic align. shaft in to make sure...

Have you guys seen the news about the CWO who was brigged for 5 months, court marshalled, received a DHD, and lost his civilian job? He vwas charged because he took equipment that did not belong to his Bn. to complete a combat mission! It was not civilian stuff, but military stuff! THAT'S BULLSHIT! ...

I'm getting in on this conversation kinda late...but....I used leafs on the frt of my 85 BroII with a D44 outta an older F-150. I opted to use hi-steer. There are advantages and disadvantages to both suspensions I guess. I will tell ya this tho.....I am running full hyd steer and it was a lot easier...

You are absolutely correct! I have already made plans to have mine made/installed. Money has been the factor in not having a cage yet. With 2" tube hovering in the $3 per foot price range has not been helping matters either. I know where I can "play" and not risk a roll-over. Ohhhhhhh...
