The core supports are unique to 88 and older and the newer style front end. I think they are the same height though, so you may be able to modify the later support to fit your needs.

Pull-A-Part in Tacoma, Wa had many of them the last time I was there.
I don't know if you can start an engine there however.

Is your transmission a C-4 or a C-5 with a bellhousing off a C-4 swapped on it ? Does the transmission have a protruding hump in the middle of the oil pan ?

We have a 1986 parts Ranger with the Mitsubishi FM145 code D.
My sons 84 BII has the Toyo Koygo 4-speed.

I wonder if the The 5-speed version of the Toyo Koygo is stronger than the FM145 ?

Actually, 4th gear is overdriven in the 4-speeds, not 1 to 1.
I'm not sure, but I don't think there is a 1 to 1 ratio in the 4-speed transmissions.

I would like to find a break down of the actual ratios.

Thanks, that helps. We have a 86 Ranger 4X4 for a parts truck, it has a 5-speed. I assume that we will be able to bolt the entire trans and transfer case up to my sons 2.8 powered B2, is that correct ?

Is there a difference in the way the hydraulic clutch line attaches to the trans ?

That is what I thought. I was hoping to get lucky and just be able to use some of the junk we already have.

I'm guessing the transfer cases are all the same pattern, but the transmissions is what I am wondering about. It seems very unlikely they would all take the same t-case adapter.
