Stock backspacing on BII's is 4.5". Most after market rims run 3.75" It's a good compromise. I have 32x10.5's on 15x7 w/ 3.75"bs. 3" lift and minor fender mods clear w/o a problem. I recently swapped in a 35ttb and haven't had a problem with bearings or rubbing. Most manufacturer...

I guess living in the Mid-West (or Great Lakes) area doesn't qualify as seeing big rocks. I guess you're right I would like to see 2.72:1, 3:1, or, 4:1 instead of twin 2.48's.

Or what if you reversed it. Put the dogbone facing the front and shackle angled down and back toward the rear. You'd have to block the dogbone from going up beyond horizontal, but it should allow the shackle to move with the spring. Just another idea, and yes you can say I'm stupid. I've heard it be...

code testers basically tells you if the comp has diagnosed any errors with the motor. mostly if a sensor is running out of its designated range. which could indicate its bad. Wal-mart carries it for around $30.

it's a good setup just not great. if the doubler had a different ratio then it could be worth it. 1:1, 1:2.48, and 1:6.15 are the only options. When do you really want (need) 1:6.15? and $700 doesn't include the crossmember or driveshafts.

Most people on the road don't know what to think of it yet. Everyone stays back an extra 2' or so. :hmmm: Thanks for the input and compliments.

Well, the deed is done. Ended up with a Dk Navy Blue, Dk Smoke Grey, and Black. Wish I had darkened the grey a little more, but all is good. Need to touch up 2 spots and the roof yet. 3 qts of Rustoleum Enamel, 3 cans of primer, and a qt of laquer thinner. About $45 in the paint, with enough left ov...

These are the best I have as it's still in project stage.
