I'm using the B&M also. I switched mine to bucket seats and fabbed a plate to cover to manual shifter hole and mounted the shifter between the seats. It's cable operated and the cable is about 3-4 feet long. So you have options.

I've been a fan of B2's for a while now. Got my 1st one about 3 years ago for free. Had to take the lift off of it and put it on a 94 Ranger. I had an 83 fullsize that the body rotted off so I took the engine, trans, t-case, and both axles and modified the B2 frame to fit it all. It's got a 302, C6 ...
