Update.....Purchased a used center console from a '93 Explorer, and fitted it in. Also found a blue overhead console from an Escort, to replace the now useless one with the broken 4x4 switches.

The first thing that was replaced, was the transfer case. I picked up a used 1350 from an Explorer, manual shift, with the shift lever. I then ordered the floor shift assembly from Car-Part.com. The floor required some modification to install it.

I purchased this rust free Bronco 2 locally, after seeing it for sale in a local facebook ad. 800.00 later, I loaded it onto my trailer, and brought it home. It has a good 2.9, A4LD, dealer installed A/C, and electronic transfer case. The Transfer case was no good, it had no oil left in it, and ...
