Good idea, Nobody.
Maybe this way I'll use a shop as a place to keep my B2 for a while!
It hurts to give it away after so much money spent.

Neutral safety switch is not aligned correct, plus shifter itself might be little off. Basicly, you are starting truck in the gear (not healthy for tranny). I had the same. Look up on rangerstation under trannies- there is a good write up there. To alighn a switch you need to put a shifter in Park ...

Are you talking about big EGR valve in front of the carb? I put a plate in between and plugged little port on the valve. I have a new PCV valve, but here is where I scewed up. There is no big port for PCV like I had on the feedback carb (there is a plugged hole in there- I can drill it out probably ...

Flooding carb or bad tranny?
I bought rebuilt 2150 for DS conversion.
It idles and accelarates okay when station, but if I start driving, as soon as I accelerate- engine dies. It's hard to restart after that and it acts like works on couple cylinders. After couple minutes starts again. Plugs are fouled now.
Any ideas?

I have a rebuilt 2150 carb. What is the venturi vacuum? I plugged vacuum advance on the right side under electric choke unit. I also had to use a smaller vacuum hose to hook up PCV which I don't like. I read somewhere I can plug it to the intake tree- it has a bigger vacuum port. There is also big ...

Now I got it! I'm sure I screwed up on this one. The skid plate was rusted right in the middle. Looks like dirt got in between tank and plate and stayed there for a long time. When I discovered a leak couple weeks ago (laying under the truck with cigarette in my mouth fixing exhaust) I patch it with ...

Man, you are big help! Thanks a lot! When piston pulls a scredriver as high as possible- that's my compression stroke, right? I'll try it probably tommorrow. Problem is, tank is dripping. Truck is in my townhouse garage with the gas filler neck right next to the fuse box. I keep a garage door open ...

Cyl. #1 is first on the left (looking towards windshield). My rotor was pointing at #3 when I was installing distributor. Dumb head! I used ratchet to turn the main pulley, removed spark plug at #1 and used a long screwdriver to catch TDC. If this will work out, from what years and models I can use ...
