Re: Dana 44 spindles

It's a drum brake Ford 6 bold spindle, I don't know what all they are on since they are not really desirable. I would look on any EB specific site and you should be able to get one cheap. I would look for the small bearing Chevy spindles, backing plates and calipers, then buy new hub rotors for abo...

Re: Dana 44 spindles

Time to switch to disc brakes, any d44 should work. Only solid axle GM 44 will work. Otherwise a knuckle swap is needed tooThe TTB axle uses a different bolt pattern on the spindle flange where it mounts to the knuckle. Most common and plentiful are the GM spindles, to use them though you need ever...

Re: Dana 44 spindles

I got a pair that I'm not using . I changed mine over to disk brakes out of a 79' model ford truck . If you use 79' spindles you will have to change axle shafts because they are bigger . Bronco graveyard has the inner shafts to make them work. Not correct. I did use 79 spindles on my 73 axle with s...

Re: My little motorcycle ride

The fluid was contaminated with moisture. The heat of the road/bike/etc mad ethe fluid expand and boil. Once I got back to Slat Lake and met up with a friend from one of the motorcycle sites we flushed the clutch master cylinder with fresh fluid and all is well. Too simple really.

Slept rather well Monday night, and rode home starting Tuesday afternoon, finall...

Re: AC pulls hard on alternator

Sounds like alternator has issues. Have it checked to see if the amperage output is within specs. If the amperage output is low it will fluctuate the voltage output drastically.

Is there still a ban on Americans buying/owning land in Australia? have they lifted the citizenship rules to allow Americans to hold a dual citizenship again?

I have never owned a Ford that did not do that if you drove in the rain. I have owned Fords for over 45 years, and yet to see one that didn't do that. they all do it at different rates of "stuck", and as suggested, it is the brakes. Check all your return springs, and check the wheel cylind...

It appears that your terminology has stumped every one and I'm the only one stupid enough to ask; WTF is a "diamond in the frame" Is this good, have you found a cheap fun way to manufacture man-made diamonds? Or, is this a bad thing?
