I wouldn't advise doin anything with a D28 other than running stock size tires. The axle shafts just cant take it... I know from experience.

Auto hubs have to be engaged during forward motion. If you try to engage them without traction for the rear tires you can tear up the front hubs... read your owners manual if you have it.

yes, well a buddy of mine did the welding and planning(headshratchin) and I did most of the cutting and grinding (lightwork) :cool: :usa:

Moog, great write up! Great to hear a B2 gettin fixed up and enjoyed. I have 227k miles on my B2 motor, I know those are orig miles cuz I used to own mine years ago. I also notices the Gearz t-shirts ur guys were wearing, Wish I had Speed channel, Stacey David is a awesome builder... Is that ur daug...
