I don't know about the fit of the S10 Blazer hitch, but, they do make hitches for the BII's. I just installed one on my 86 last fall. It's made by Curt, a 2 inch class III, and I ordered it from etrailer.com. Price was reasonable, install only took about an hour by myself.

Re: Need advice!
I just put one on my 86 2.9 a few weeks ago. I have to say, it's the hardest one I've ever done. I ended up having to pull the pump, pulley, clutch and fan as one unit, because the fan nut was frozen on the old pump shaft. I spent a total of about 6 hours on it. had I been able to get that fan, clut...

Re: Battery, alternator, or ???
Okay, I stopped on the way home from work, and had my battery and alternator tested. Battery had a charge of 13.6 volts, alternator was putting out between 14.5 and 15.6 volts. This shouldn't be what causes them to go dim should it? And, when I say dim, I mean it's a good thing I'm not moving cause ...

Re: Battery, alternator, or ???
Thought about that, but, went out and checked. It idles up when everything gets turned off. I plan to drive it to work tomorrow, so, I'll stop by Autozone on the way home and have them check the battery and alternator for me.

Re: turn signal problems
Also, before you trouble shoot, make sure all of your lights have the right bulbs installed. Some vehicles, especially later models, can develop some very strange symptoms simply by installing an incorrect bulb.

Re: turn signal problems
If it blows as soon as you turn on the ignition, you have a bad short. As long as none of the lights are on, or operating, the fuse shouldn't blow just by turning on the ignition. Be very careful using higher capacity fuses than specified. Hot wires can easily start a fire.

Instrument regulator/stabilizer question
In searching the forum, I've found a few posts referring to this little gadget on the back side of the guage cluster. When I first got my 86 Xlt a few months ago, there were no problems. Then, a couple of weeks later, it started running real hot. So, naturally, I put in a new thermostat, and sending...

Re: AM/FM/CD player for a 89 Bronco II
I just bought a 79 dollar Pioneer unit (single DIN) from W.Mart, also bought the Scosche install kit. It made the swap pretty simple. I also bought the wiring adapter, but, the speaker connections weren't right. To fix that, I just pulled the pins from the adapter plug, and rewired the plug itself. ...

Possible future B2 owner, with q's
Hi all, I'm looking at possibly buying an 86 Bronco II this weekend, and, had some questions before I begin this adventure. First, it's a one owner XLT, 2.9 automatic, 4x4, with 53,000 miles. Paint is thin, and, the roof has primer and some light surface rust, but, the rest of the body is covered. N...
