I guess you are talking about the intank pump? Best way is to lower tank get a brass punch pop the ring off and swap it in. You will need fuel disconnect tools. Some people just cut a hole in the floor option is yours

Ya it says it works on the 4 & 5 speed. I guess that makes sense since they have the same bolt pattern

I got a 302 out a 90 f150 was wondering if the round firewall plug is the same as bronco 2. I am also curious If any one has used the advanced adapter that let's you use the 2.9 5 speed?

Ya it can be done I got a 2.3 4 speed 4wd in mine. It sucks. Like trying to drive a go cart up hills and what not. Gets like 12 to 15 mpg. Now it is carb. You can swap the bellhousings but I hear you have to trim the shaft on the 2.9 5 speeds don't know about auto's. I am gonna go to a 302.
