i'm not talking @ running leafs, i prefer coils on RBV's for sure.

what i'm saying is that you get better performance, strength and ground clearance by using extended tubular arms w/ heim joints. not to mention handling. some setups don't even require a trac bar.

if you had a leaf sprung axle why would you weld C-wedges on and go w/ the factory junk that a lot of guys are stuck using because they have cast C-wedge axles?

you could have welded mounts anywhere and ran a 4 or 3 link setup.

i'm not talking @ adding a piece to the end. :puke:

cut the whole arm off and make it out of tubing, like JD's or Cage's.

i have brand new in the box vinyl flooring w/ jute for a BII including cargo area.

i think it was like $250, i'll have to check. anyway i'll sell for less than new whatever a good deal is.

i won't use it, because i'm running bare metal less mildew and i'm not using the BII body anymore either.

i think it's pretty nice i don't care for the interior or the mirrors, but that's becuase it's all show and not much go. i've always wanted to build a street BII, but it would be way more functional than that. i.e., @500hp 2.3T w/ a Tremec 3550 pushing an 8.8 w/ a 31 splined Eaton running out throug...

there is not enough room to weld new wedges next to the cast ones. i could start shouting measurments, but i forgot them. i do know that overall the full width is only 6" wider max. which gives you 3" per side. in order to be centered they would overlap and if you go all the way in and but...

well, i tried to soak mine in hot water and it didnt work for sh@!. so then i got a heat gun (best $20 ever spent) and still just screwed the hoses up because the barbed fittings were to long. then i found out that the ones i had bought are no longer made and a different company makes them. the new ...

i just put the 2.9L in, i havent even wheeled the thing because i'm slowly doin' the SAS. once this susp. and all is done i'm not going to feel like swapping another motor in, i need some reward for all the work done. the truck will never even have a plate on it, so i'm gonna run that 2.9L till i cr...

ya know, i look at the swap as a basic entry level mod for a BII. to spend any money on anything else susp. wise or tires and wheels first would be a waist of time and money. i've hardly even driven mine and the 4wd hasn't worked since i've owned it. i brought it home yanked the motor, dropped in an...

you don't have to, but it's a good idea. you can always do it later if you need to save time and/or money.

makes it nice to have same exact width and same bolt patterns too.
