I've had good luck just clamping a piece of scotch brite or steel wool to the wire just before it goes through the rollers so it cleans itself off before it even hits the rollers and i dont have to remove the spool and refeed it through the gun every time i want to use it.

pull the vaccum line off the back of it ....if its full of fuel then the regulator is junk .......thats how i figured out mine was bad

the clips just slide out of the fittings just push a flat head screwdriver under the tabs on them and pry out then just pull the lines off or take the lines off at the filter canister on the frame rail .........you said u cant reach or see the lines on top of the tank .....let it down with a floor j...

check the coil brother I have had the coil wire burn in half before on both my ranger and bronco ( kinda my fault on the ranger didnt put it back in the loom and it touched the exhaust manifold lol

im with ranger dave the 4 inch will get you plenty of room in those wheel wells then the explorer axels will add the beef you need for the bigger tires and if you regear those axels there will be no need for the bigger engine the 2.9 with a rebuild will definately do the job and get decent fuel mile...

you can always finish puting the engine in the truck and just pull the coil wire off and roll the engine over in intervals of 10 seconds about half a dozen times or more and watch for oil pressure to rise on the gauge b4 hooking the coil wire back up

take it back or bleed the clutch slave cylinder out may be didnt get completely bled out and check the fluid level on the firewall

have somone just heat up the nut on that old hitch ball with a torch and hold the ball with a pipe wrench and use a box end wrench to take the nut off that way you dont ruin your old hitch ball instead of cutting it off

they will fit but its not recomended the wheels are accualy wider than the tread width of the tire and along with that the rim lip will have no protection from damage like curbs or rocks on the trail,and more prone to pop off the bead when aired down,it is accualy recomended to go approx 2 inches na...

yep ford used a 5 on 4.5 lug pattern on the ranger,bronco 2 and the explorer, jeep aslo used the same lug pattern on the wrangler from 87-2006, the xj cherokee in all years of production and the grand cherokee also dodge used the lug pattern in the mid to late 70s on there half ton pickups.

go to the parts store and look on there shelves for a manual I go mine as auto zone for 12 dollars i believe its a haynes , and the trans pan in on the bottom of your trans its big and flat and made of tin, the dip stick tube is where you fill your auto trans so get a small funnel and your power ste...
