Re: what other body would you put on a B2?

There is a Mustang on a BII frame not far from here. It's a very clean looking rig and it's FOR SALE on C/L. What city? Well I thought it was listed in Athens Ga. but can't find it now. Maybe it's already sold or the listing expired I'm not sure what happened to it. I wish I had posted i...

Re: 88 bronco 2 trouble

Sounds a lot like a lack of fuel, maybe the filter or the pump sock clogged. There are a few other things it could be also. But if it were mine I would start by checking/replaceing the fuel filter.

Re: Rear-end swap

If you change the rear gear ratio you'll need to change the front to match it. As for as the ratio goes 3:43 is a common ratio as is the 3:73 the 4:10 is a little tougher to find but there are some flaoting around. The 3:43 will be better for fuel economy as long as your on fairly flat ground and no...

Re: Air Conditioning

On an 87 the dryer is mountedright in front of the blower housing with a bracket attatching it to the blower housing. There is one threaded fitting and ond quick lock fitting, you'll need a speacial tool to release the quick lock fitting. You can pick this tool up at most auto parts stores.

Re: Drivelines

ide rather see the front joint thats what she said! :D But you should be able to get a grasp on the front U-joint angle by looking at the drive shaft in this pic. Old, dry or abused joints don't last long in even perfect situations but these never gave any problems. But this BII had a new clutch, p...

Re: Drivelines

well, ide like to see your rear driveshaft, but i bet you dont have a camera. those xplorer springs only gave about a 2in lift and need a DC. i installed a 4in suspension lift in another B2 using the STOCK DC and it didnt last 2 days(it binds up). so i did the xplorer shaft swap and that shaft has b...

Re: How to determine if motor is toast?

These are real bad about cracking heads, so if you're gonna pull it down be sure to have the heads checked for cracks while they are off.

Re: Air Conditioning

I have the 134 refill and the fittings to update the system. Is that all I have to do? I've been trying to learn all I can about AC systems this weekend and was afraid I had to completely clean the whole system and replace the dryer, all O rings, etc... If this is not the case that'd be great! When...
