I wanted to go with the C-4 becuse I have a C-5 and I understood that it was a simple and cheap way to go becuse I could still use tranny mount and all that good stuff swaping-out with the C-5; I guess I am looking ...

I think that you can use any c-4 as long it was used in a 4x4 I know they were uesd in f150s untill 1980

didn't ford use the C-4 in F 150's (4x4) till 1980

I have read that I can use my C-5 output and it will bolt on the C-4

302 + D-20 + c-4

I was thinking for running a D-20 (j-type) with a C-4 seeing how I have a c-5 now and maybe a twin stick for it is this a bad setup?

I have read on the Ranger station that some of the Exploers Rads will work and bolt right in ;but they have to be like the 1st Gen 4.0 with auto tranny and A/C I think thats the was I am going to go I have heard they work much better then the duff rad
