Engine additives
Has anyone tried any additives that fix blown head gaskets/ cracked heads... do any of them work? Which one is the best for the money

I too have the MAJOR CLOUD OF WHITE SMOKE going on... I haven't torn down the motor yet. its too cold here in texas to do anything right now lol... Thank you for all your help techatlarge. i replaced the coil, the pickup sensor in the dizzy, high pressure fuel pump, inline fuel filter, o2 sensor. she got me to the gas station before i changed the o2 sensor. when it warmed up it was acting kinda sluggish, so i changed the o2 sensor... it was ...

If i am getting spark, and i have to have the gas pedal to get it to start. could it be the high pressure fuel pump? still only runs at 3000 rpm. sounds like its not getting fuel. how much pressure should i have in the lines.. i pulled the external one and it still squirted out pretty good. does ...

thank you so much my orginal coil died a while back. i will get the stock replacement... then go from there. is the hall effect sensor hard to fix?

Lol... thanks man... sounds like my problem it did backfire pretty loud then just wouldn't run. ok since all that stuff is under warranty or i can still return it... i checked to see if there was pressure when i turn my fuel pumps on and fuel came out not guizuring (not sure how its spelled lol) but ...

what should i do it still ain't running? I have tried everything. it is getting spark. if i keep cranking it with the pedal to the floor it will start and run at 3000 rpm with the pedal to the floor. when i let off the pedal it dies... any help would be great. I am gunna get new fuel pumps on ...

Update!!!! Replaced the coil, and the TFI Control Module. Got it running but you have to have the pedal all the way to the floor. It will not idle. when i let off the pedal it sputters til it dies and then it doesn't wanna start back up again. When I had the pedal to the floor it only went to 3000 ...

It shot out... found out it was my coil now it won't start and my tac doesn't move when i crank it like it use to... what is my problem now? got a super fire coil on it. got spark and fuel but it won't start!
