nah those flowmasters are nice but u cant really get that much of a different sound outta them with that little 2.9...trust me i already tried it...i went thru about 5 exhausts till i found the 1 i liked on mine.... its not to loud but gives a nice rumble and its cheap.. thrusher glasspack $21.50 ou...

on the trans itself there will be a little cork like thing on the drivers side that will have a 1/2inch ratchet spot(i belive its 1/2inch) in the center of it that u can just take that off and that is right where the fluid is supposed to be at so if its overfull whatever needs to come out will and w...

try taking it to a auto shop and ask them to reset your computer on the truck because the way you are describing it is locking in but automaticly locking out on its own and that might be the computer malufunctioning....gotta love the technology

i would also check your timing too, even the slightest hair off on timing could cause that

ive got a edelbrock 289 high rise intake a radiator, edelbrock chrome valve covers and there gaskets, distributor, waterpump, and the thermostat gooseneck for the 302 if your wanting the extra parts to put on... radiators new, the distributor i had given to me and was told it worked fine, valve cove...

for the noises u are hearing try locking ur truck in and out of 4 wheel drive a couple times then the last tim drive it in reverse for about ten feet... i had a problem with mine like that a couple times and the noise was just comming from my auto locking hubs not disengaging all the way.... another...

I think my parking brake is stuck on a little bit, I have it disconnected underneath, as in the spring and that metal thing i took off. The cable and everything is still there though. How can I check to see if its stuck on? Also how can I make it so that it actually works? Before when I pressed on ...

maybe the new thermostat is junk too...try boiling it in water and see if it opens up and if it does then try buying 1 that opens up at a lower tempature and if that dont work then try the waterpump

yea it pushed out mad heat from the vents n everything but mine has never had no problems with it overheating
