if your motor is still working and you can hear it from what ive heard it could be two things. either the motor isnt getting enough power or it needs a gear kit. advanceautoparts has motors for 50 and gear kits for 19.

dont have a mirror but i could pretty much see inside. i tried lifting the window while pressing the up button but no go. i can hear the motor i think the gear on it or that it connects to is stripped. not sure how the mechanism works so if someone has a diagram or cut away view or something thatd ...

window wont go up
Hey everyone got a 88 bronco 2. the passenger side window is up and the driver side down. Its power windows and locks.
When i try to move either window i can here the motor but nothing happens. Did the windows come of the lifter or track or whatever its called? or?

i broke it off. not sure how they even got it on there. thanks for the help guys. Oh one other question. put the new hose on. but the new one doesnt fit in the hole the old one did. the old one had 2 flatsides so the hole is oval. the new hose doesnt have flat sides. is it and issue if it moves ...

the bent side you show in the pic theres a bar across the side closest to the frame, so it cant be tapped out that direction. if you were to turn it around theres a bar on that side to but its on the other side. so it can't be tapped off either way. should i just break it off? i really dont see any ...

yep thats it. but theres no room to swing any thing. ive been able to hit it with a wrench but it just turns it wont pop off...

how do i remove break hose from caliper?
hey im replacing the brakes, calipers and rotors on my 88 bronco 2. How do i removed the hose that connects to the caliper? i dont know how to remove the part connected to the frame, got the caliper end off.

How do i remove rotors from 1988 bronco 2?
trying to replace the rotors on a bronco 2 1988, but i can seem to remove the rotors. There are rubber type caps that come out of the rotors. I think i need to remove these but not sure how to. Dont want to damage anything.

found calipers at advanceauto for 16.99 (10 core), rotors online for 20 each and brake lines for 17 each. still gotta do the rear drums.

Yep sure do. I live in michigan. Just a quick question. How do i remove the rotors. Gotten as far as removing the calipers. Also what would you guys recommend cleaning it up with? When i did my bike brakes i used simple green.
