what kind of relay cable should i be using i dont have a clue does it have to be a certain length because i have one thats either 72" or 64" i just bought a longer one because it makes it easier to reach to the starter

my bronco ran to where i was going but right before i shut it off it started running like shit it popped not like a back fire i dont know what it was then i shut it off and when i went to push start it it just made the same sound and was bogging the whole time it was rolling it just wouldnt start ...

u know what i have replaced that relay cable from the solinoid to the starter, right around the time i changed the starter when the problems started happening maybe that could be it and i dont want to sell it i just dont have a job right now and to get a job i kinda need a car that runs to be able ...

it didnt work it still wont engage the fly wheel and theres no chips or teeth missing on the flywheel either

it has a brand new starter in it but it just wont engage its a 1984 bronco ii 5 speed manual 2.8L v6

when i first bought the bonco II the starter worked fine but once that starter went bad and i replaced it it wont ingage the flywheel, the flywheel is fine no chips and ive replaced the solinoid, the sarter just wont work correctly this has been happening on and off for about 3 years any suggestions?
