Re: Tell me about your rear end

You can find 8.8's with the most of the same gearing options as 7.5's. Crawl under your track and check the rear end tag on one of the cover bolts to see what the gearing is in your current axles. Then just find an 8.8 with the same gearing. If you are going to upgrade the front dana 28 for a dana 3...

I used a summit 180* switch for a year or so and it burned out so I just ran it to the ignition and left it that way.

The stock electrical gauges are notoriously way off. I have had mechanical guages in everything I have owned with a 2.9 and the two gauges rarely agree. It should be around 20 at hot idle.

Not the bronco, I havent touched it in a few weeks because I was on vacation and then I have been working on everyone elses projects since Ive been back so I havent had the time to work on my own. Its going to be a while yet until that thing moves, I still have to finish mounting the airshocks and g...

Naches WA Aug 4,5,6

There is a run coming together for the weekend of the 5th. There are plans to run trails and go play on the moon rocks while camping out at halfway flats. If anyone can make it out even for a day it should be alot of fun. Here are the plans in detail. http://broncoii.org/fordforum/index.php?showtopi...

Yep. But several companies make adapters to bolt them to the standard 6 bolt 31 spine full size ford trannies.

go 1/4", the trac bar takes alot of abuse on side hills and with the front flexed out and it will ruin your day if something fails. Tie it in to the crossmember as well to keep it from flexing the frame.

the 1345 was a 3/4 ton and 1 ton case, it shouldnt be under a bronco unless it was swapped in. Are you sure its not a 1356? That was a border year so it could have gotten one. A 205 will bolt right in place of it but your driveshafts might not be long enough. You will lose a ton of low range though,...

'80 -'86 full size bronco will have a 208 with a fixed rear yoke. '80 -'83 or so F150 will have fixed yoke 208 as well. '83-'86 F150 will have a slip yoke 208 which sucks because its alot longer and the fluid will dump out when you pull the rear driveshaft. Any 31 spline 6 bolt tcase will bolt to a ...

Thats the bw1350. A 208 will fit much better than a 1356, and depending on how you cock the motor over you dont have to touch the frame.

1356 came stock behind T18's in the late 80's. You can bolt any 31 spline 6 bolt full size transfer case up to a T18/T19/Np435/M5ODR2/ZF, etc. 1356s came behind 7.5s and PSD's so they can more than handle a puny 5.0. They are a reeeally tight fit in a ranger/b2 though. A np208 or np205 would be a be...
