where are the relays for the 4x4 located on a bronco 2 87

HELP!!!!!!!!!
i have a 87 bronco and it has the 4x4 switch on the overhead console and the lights on them turn on but i dont hear anything click on or feel anything differnet i was wondering if there is a certain way to engage it and if there is a relay or something i should check out thanks
