Re: Needs some work- exhuast question

I believe stock exhaust is 1 7/8's. I did 2 1/4 rom the Y pipe back on mine with a flowmaster style muffler. The muffler had baffles for back pressure and the flow was excellent with a good sound. Re: 1985 Bronco II Carb replacement

They used to sell a 4 barrel manifold that allowed a 390 CFM 4 barrel Holley. I believe that Offenhauser put this out. I don't have the numbers for the carb but they still produce it. The carb is rather expensive ($400). A 380 Holley 2- barrel is more of a direct replacement. It isn't very cheap eit...

Usually they would start at least 6 months before the introduction of the next year. The first one's probably were built in 1982. These were the replacements for the pinto, since the last one were built in about the same time line. :redneck: lol. Just kidding, though alot of the engines derived from...

Probably have cracked heads. The oil is leaking into the cylinders through the cracks in the valve guide bosses.

I like them on my backhoe as well. It is four wheel drive and it does become handy off road.

If I remember right. You have to get the whole plumbing section from the 85' to make it work. I have swapped them out to 77-84 motors before I install them into my 1985.
