well I got some Moog replacment coils from a '78 Bronco, they were free so thought i might aswell try them. anyone have any opinions as to if they will be long enough to get some decent flex?

Yep realize that part, just wondering on what coils are too soft/rigid etc.
So far ive been told Aerostars, XJ's, or even the JD EB's

Coil Options

Starting to do up a 1-link setup for the rear of my beast. Just wondering if anyone had any opinions etc on the best set of coils to use for this? Ive got the EB 3.5"ers up front with a D44 HP, and a D60 out back. Need some coils for the rear that will even it out a little better but still flex ...

Started getting the D44 under.
The EB springs seem to fit in the buckets, but wont line up with the 44 plate mounts. Did you guys just move the bottom mount? Thanks

Well, got the front all delt with. Ended up finding a pair of james duff EB 3.5"ers for 50 bucks which was nice.. Now im wondering about the back. what have you guys used to even it out? Wont be 3 or 4 linking it for awhile, so what kind of leaves have you guys used to even things out. Running a D60 ...

Well, ended up finding a used set of JD EB 3.5"ers for $50 bucks, cant beat that. Let the fun begin :cool:

the duffs are harder to come by up here, plus I can grab a set of the mercedes' for a bit less then the duffs would cost me after shipping etc

Mercedes Springs

Just wondering if instead of using JD EB springs for my BII SAS, If anyones used Mercedes Benz G-Wagon coils? They are 23" with no weight on them. Also, whats the width of the JD EB 3.5" springs? Thanks

two more question for you all. since im doing this on a budget,im thinking about reusing my current coils up front (4" BII lift coils) and rear (4" Lift Leaves). Any thoughts on this? and how much lift will the SAS instantly give me? thnaks guys
