i got my hp 44 out of a 78 f150. my buddies 79 has a low pinion. and another guy i now with a 79 has a hp. :confused: :wtf:

if i were you iwould get a hold of advanced adapters and get an adapter plate to bolt a 205 to your t18. i did it on my last bronco and i will soon do it on the one im working on now. there is also a kit that takes the low range from a 203 and adds it to your 205 which gives you two low range gears....

ones a high pinion and the other is not . why is it that i find one 79 bronco with a high pinion and another one with a low pinion. they are both stock and both 1/2 to? :confused:

YEH I THINK THAT WILL BE BEST FOR NOW. THANX FOR ALL YOUR HELP. I THINK IF I'M IM GOING TO WAIT TO UPGRADE THE STEERING WHEN I HAVE THE CASH, THEN IM NOT GOIN TO F%#K AROUND IM JUST GOING TO GET A HIGH STEER KIT. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHICH WOULD BE THE BEST TO GO WITH.

ream them from the top so it has full contact all the way around the tie rod end stud? is that pretty much all? other than that which i noticed also, is there any other in put or thoughts that might help. or is it pretty much cut and dry, GET'R DONE.

right now the full size bronc 80' is sitting on a 4" lift. running 4" trailmaster coils, trail master shocks, with a drop pitman arm already. im doing the straight aqxle conversion. i have the 78' dana 44. new ball joints, bearings seals , u-joints .4.88 gears , locker, and new nuts bolts ...

yeh i agree too. i think if the coils break in and ends up making my front sag a little then it would be much better to slide the upper bucket to a lower position. it would be more reliable. and not hard to do. now on to the rear end. i want to lose the add a leaf, and the over load spring in the sp...
