correct on the odometer. I think in 89 or 90 they changed to a 6 digit. The stock motor is a 2.9L FI V6. It has decent power and will turn 31s fine and 33s ok if you change the gearing around. I have a 4liter in my 85 ranger, 4.56 gears, and a spool (welded). It screams on 32s...I think I need to do...

good for you man! One thing to keep an eye on, those engines have a problem with the intake getting all clogged up with soot and goo...(I think its from EGR...not sure though) but if it's running well then its probably fine. When they get all clogged they start running really bad and getting hard to...

The 80's vw's didn't come with turbos. So they weren't called TDI's. Your totally wrong. I have one, and my parent's neighbor has one as well. It is true that they wern't called TDI's but that is just because VW hadn't come up with that catchy name yet. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0837601843/1...

Bethany and I bought an 84 Jetta turbo diesel and converted it to run B100. It costs just as much as regular diesel and has 0 petrolium in it. The ranger doesn't move much anymore... You mean 94? I've been looking into Jetta TDI's, but damn they are hard to find......and expensive. I'm worried abou...

I have had one for ~2 years and its still going strong. Mine is a milemarker. I cut the cable shorter because it used to stack up on long pulls and it actaully broke off the 2 cross bars but it still works just fine. The whinch is WAY slow compared to the high speed warns, even under load, but it do...

Here is a picture of the whole set up. The yellow bike was NOT stolen! Just the truck and the red bike.

Truck and Bike Stolen in Everet
A friend just had his truck and motorcycle stolen in Everet last night. The truck is a mid 80s Nissan. Its kind of a beater, its light blue, 2wd, and has a crazy woven seat cover. There are no hubcaps on the truck. The bike is an 87 XR250R that is a COMPLETE beater. Red tank, Blue seat with a hole d...

When I was younger, my friends and I cleaned up a car and 2 truckloads of demolition debris from a piece of private property that the owner let us wheel on and the next weekend someo...

yea...that organization is 100% due to guys like Bill. On a side note, did you guys hear that Reiter has been turned into a Public Park? (that is good for us - it means it can't get closed and messed with) I have seen people calling for a self police force down there now...like if you see someone du...
