Re: axles

LOL old post, but he meant the 7.5" rear. The 8.8" is much stronger than the 7.5". Although I have to say, I had a 7.5 the whole time I wheeled my B2 with a Detroit locker and never had any problems.

Re: 2021 Bronco

Yes I am still around. I try to visit once in a while. I was a day 2 reservation. I don't have a reason for waiting a day either. Busy working or some dumb stuff. Glad you got your order in too. Hopefully we get em sooner than later. I miss my B2. There are only a handful of broncoIIs around lately,...

2021 Bronco

So who here is going for the new Bronco? I reserved a Badlands. I converted my reservation to an order on January 20. On February 2 I got an email from Ford saying that they received my order. Now the waiting game begins to see when it will arrive. Maybe summer, maybe 2022...

Re: What did you do with your Bronco II today?

My bronco (my first vehicle I ever purchased), moved to a new home. It was a very sad day.

Re: b2 dana 44 swap

If they have a metal tag on one of the cover bolts look at it. If it doesnt, then count the times the tire turns for each rotation of the yoke (or the times the yoke turns per tire rotation. Its been a while since I have done it).

Re: b2 dana 44 swap

Most likely not. The hard part is that the D44 is physically bigger than the old D28. The U-Joints used are bigger on the D44 and the straps are different sized.

Re: b2 dana 44 swap

If you get a Tom Woods shaft, they do custom ends to make it work. Last time I was on that site, they gave instructions on how to measure the output of the T-case and the front axle yoke.
