Yeh but that will al depend on how the axle is assembled. The lowest point on mine will be about 1/2 below the outside Diameter of the middle U-joint. Maybe less if I can figure out a way to get rid of the center joint (aside from having a cutstom inner shaft made)

Well I knew most would not see it my way but here is the deal, I have the material to build the axle and the three link, I'm going to run. So I need to buy some heims and new coils. So figure 100-150 for the springs and another 100 for the heims and I'm looking at 250 tops. I would still have to ...

OK I have set my mind to building a straight axle out of TTB D35. I know I know why waste the time, well I already have a locker in it and it will be a far less expensive swap. Any way does anybody have link to any info on this? I know others have done it I just can't find much info on the subject.

Those are if you care about the looks, this thing has one purpose in life and that's to enjoy off road.

I only put the body lift in to clear the tires a little better, not to mention they keep the center of gravity lower then going all suspension lift.
