i did a frame off resto and forgot to reconnect all the grounds ,

i had the same problem a few years ago. i got in the truck and drove about 3 miles and did the same thing yours did. i would take it off and check the alt again

OK pulled the tank down and its got a thick layer or rust in it, and the pump screen as been ate away. i went and bought a pump and tank. thanks rangerdave

Ive always found pb blaster to work the best for me it helped me get rusted exhaust bolts out.

best thing to do is measure from flange to flange on your axle and t case, and get one made for around 250 to 300 bucks

first off i would try and go to pullapart and get you a new module for around 40 bucks, and you can get another motor for about 20 bucks if you need it

you shouldn't need a socket on auto hubs only manual ones. i just used a magnet to pull the little key out of the space in the nut. i used a pair of channel locks to get the nut loose. hope this helps check out a Chilton manual

yes they came on the xls sport and also some of the xls had a tube rear bumper and grille guard.
