Re: 84 b2shock ???????

when heating near the tank, if worried, just put a piece of sheetmetal between the heat and te tank. The tank will not gain as heat at all this way.

Re: 302 ho

Cam and heads are the biggest difference. Non HO engines use the E6 heads which are lousy for performance. The HOs got E7s. This is from 87- up. 86 all engines had E6s and 82-85 had the same basic head as was around from the seventies, except 85s had clearance for removing the roller lifters. If you...

Re: rebuilding a 302?

Well Ranger Dave, you are close . . but the "E" in the casting number does not mean engine. The "T" does mean the truck division was responsible for the design, but doesn't mean it can't be used in other vehicle lines; which they were.

Re: Top Chop Ideas.

Saw a cool looking topless BII at the junk yard recently. It had fiberglass panels that were made for the truck, at all edges where it was cut. It was a factory piece of some sort . anyone know what I'm talking about?

old Bronco grille on a BII

I have seen the pics and want to do this. I see that the grilles are fairly equal in size, but was wondering what fabrication has to be done? I can handle it, just want to know first. Thanks
