Well I did it the hard way. I got a 3/8 socket ground down one side so I could get it to fit and after an hour of cursing and yelling it worked. Then I found out it had a star or torx fitting. GEEZ!!!
I guess it helps to actually look at the bolt. Maybe now I can convince the wife I need a lift.

Reomving Front Driveshaft?
Is there a special tool for removing the front driveshaft on a 88' Bronco II???? For the life of me I cannot get a socket on the bolts to remove the straps. The simple problem is that the clerance between the straps and the bolts is next to none. I sure would hate to have to cut them off.....any ...
