Re: Quick suspension question
To finish off that story, the Bronco sheared the head off of the crank shaft on that trip. It has been sitting in Las Vegas since then, I've been moved to New Mexico. I'm finally getting the Bronco project started, though now it's going to be a daily driver. Still swapping axles and putting a 4.0 ...

I miss my baby Bronco too much.
I am returning the B-II after a long hiatus, I've got an '05 F150 and an '86 Mustang GT with a Cobra 5.0 in it, so my MPGs are not exactly spectacular. I'm going to be bringing my baby Bronco to NM from Las Vegas sometime in the next few months and putting it all together to use as a daily driver ...

Re: Quick suspension question
This is just temporary, the truck is going to get lifted, different axles, and 31" tires before it is all said and done. I just need it to make it to my next duty station pulling a trailer.

Quick suspension question
I need to stiffen up the rear suspension on my 84 BII. What is a cheap easy way to do that? I am moving cross country soon and i will have my bike in the back with a small freezer and I will be towing a small trailer, I really don't want the back end dragging the whole way, and the stock suspension ...

Re: My 84 BII wont start
Does it turn over? If it turns over and just doesn't spark it could be the top bolt on your starter is gone. Mine used to do that all the time. If it is just clicking it may be your starter is bad, or it might be your ignition.

Re: 1984 Bronco II
Ok, so here's what I have so far: definitely going to go with the 4.0 with a Ford 8.8 in the rear. Either a Dana 35 or 44 in the front. I still don't know what to do for the tranny/transfer case. Also, do I really need the lift? I am only going to have 30's on it when it's all said and done. I am ...

Re: 1984 Bronco II
Any recommendations for the tranny and transfer case? I have been told that the best combo is the C-6 with an NP-205 transfer case, but will that bolt up to the 4.0? Also did Ford put that axle under the Explorer Sport? That is going to be my engine donor I think.

Axles, and stuff
I just got my second Bronco II, and I am wondering what would be the best axles and suspension to put under it. It is going to have a 4.0 from either a Ranger or an Explorer Sport. Also, do I need a lift to clear 30" tires? One more thing, where can I go to find out if a C-6 with an NP-205 transfer ...

1984 Bronco II
I have a 1984 Bronco II, that I am going to build over the next few years. I am gathering parts right now, and once I have what I need I am going to do an engine swap, tranny and transfer case swap, and possibly new axles if I need them. Now for the questions. Which motor should I use? The 3.3 or ...
