Cant find brake line

I need a new rear brake line for my 89 B2. The threads that go to the drum are bigger then the threads needed for the T-fitting on top of the differential. Autozone doesnt have one, Oreillys doesnt have one, advanced doesnt have one.......
Where do I get one from?

Re: D44 length info

Thanks Vabron. That does help alot! I guess a SAS it is. Only thing I was worried about was finding parts but it should be easy just basing it off of high or low pinion carriers. I may attempt to make my own disk brakes at first. I know someone with a plasma cutter for the brackets, and I have a set ...

Re: D44 length info

The two things that were stopping me were availability and width. I now know of somone with about 5 and was trying to research them a bit. How universal are diff parts? He doesn't know what they came off of so I was planning to pick the one with disk brakes if I did.

D44 length info

Been considering a SAS instead of the D35 and just trying to do a little comparing. I dont want to lose to much of the stock look and therefor have turned down the idea of a SAS because of length. Further searching has re-brought up the idea. I have seen some D44 BII's that looks like the tires stuc...

Re: D35 members

Im not really that worried about breaking anything. There are D35's galour in junk yards around here. I got mine for $90.00 with 3.73's. I will just keep replaceing until it gets expensive and then go D44.

Also, would you feel comfortable running 35's with a locked diff?

Help fix my gas guage

My gas guage and temperature guage went out about the same time. The gas guage would stay on E. Every now and then, the guage would move to half and then drop back down to E after a while. I was thinking it was the sending unit but dont want to spend $60.00 if the guage itself is bad(since the temp ...

Re: dana 30 sas

Would anyone really need more then the D35 with 33-35" tires on stock engine? I doubt it.... If you do, I must say you are really trying to demolish your rig at all times and should go with a D44. The D35 isnt as strong as the D44, but it is the closest thing to it. Especially when you swap D44...

Re: dana 30 sas

Thats what im doing also. I didnt want to go through the cost of a D44 so I was going to go with a D30. Talking to different people I found out that the D35 is pretty close to the D44 in strength and can be upgrades with D44 nuckles to make it even stronger. Im putting my explorer leaf springs on ho...

Clunk noise

Have a bad clunk and vehicle jerks about 2" when I go from park to reverse or from reverse to drive and drive to reverse. Neutral and park dont do this. Thought it was u-joints when we first got it so my dad bought a new driveshaft with two u joints. It didnt fix the problem at all. Ive read di...

Re: tips & pointers needed before I buy a lift kit.

Fender trimming would be alot more attractive then a body lift, serve the same purpose, and be alot cheaper and easier. Th eonly thing I dont like about a body lift is the gap and the frame shows alot more. For your BII, you can get coil spacers for the front and a 2" block for the rear. It wou...

How much lift do you run?

I know these BII's of ours are very top heavy. With stock rims(no extra backspaceing) what size lift would you recommend going? I was thinking of 32" tires but 33's with 1.5" fender trim MIGHT be the route I take.
